40,000-square-foot medical building planned for Chicago suburb — 3 insights

Chicago real estate developer HSA PrimeCare is building a 40,000-square-foot medical office pavilion on the campus of New Lenox, Ill.-based Silver Cross Hospital, BisNow reports.

What you should know:

1. The building will house Silver Cross' urgent care, occupational health and primary care clinics, among others.

2. Developers expect to open the building in December.

3. HSA PrimeCare President John Wilson said his firm is developing the medical office building because Silver Cross' existing buildings are approaching capacity.

"It's the ideal time to develop yet another cutting-edge facility that will give additional healthcare providers the opportunity to establish a presence on campus," Mr. Wilson told BisNow.
