Wolters Kluwer Health has announced The Medical Center of Plano (Texas) has selected its ProVation MD software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding.
ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to a company news release.
"The Medical Center of Plano is dedicated to providing the highest-quality healthcare to the communities it serves, as evidenced by its many awards and distinctions of excellence," said Arvind Subramanian, president and CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, in the news release. "We are pleased that it has selected ProVation MD for GI to further this mission and provide comprehensive documentation and coding for improved care, compliance and profitability in the GI lab."
