A study of 180 device industry executives found more than half plan to increase prices of their products to offset the 2.3 percent tax, according to a MassDevice report.
When asked about cutting jobs to offset the tax, less than 17 percent of executive responded that they would do so. Lowering production costs and investing in less research and developing all ranked higher than layoffs.
