MEDICREA, a medical company developing surgical technologies for the treatment of spinal pathologies, received FDA approval for its PASS MIS system, according to a news release.
The company also announced the first PASS MIS surgery was performed in the U.S. by Victor Hsu, MD, at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital. The PASS MIS system builds off the company's core PASS technology and employs a polyaxial posted screw and top loading connector design.
