President Obama signed an executive order yesterday ordering the FDA to take action on drug shortages in three key areas, an Associated Press report said.
The order asked the FDA to broaden reporting of potential drug shortages, speed up the process of reviewing applications to change production of drugs that face shortages and give the Department of Justice more information about instances of collusion or price gouging.
