The "Guide to Preventing Clostridium Difficile Infections" is an update of a 2008 APIC guide, and includes new tools and revised information. The guide describes many interventions to prevent C. diff, including surveillance, hand hygiene, contact/isolation precautions, environmental infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship.
