Advanced Sterilization Products has recalled all lots of Sterrad Cyclesure 24 Biological Indicators manufactured between February 2008 and December 2011.
This is an update from the lot numbers of Sterrad Cyclesure 24 Biological Indicators that were previously reported in July. At that time, the FDA determined that certain lots of the product could not effectively monitor the sterilization process throughout the 15-month shelf life. It could, however, be used with a six-month shelf life. Therefore, products that have exceeded six months of shelf life were recalled.
ASP issued this most recent recall after it determined it could not support the entire labeled shelf life of all lots of Sterrad Cyclesure 24 Biological Indicators, manufactured between February 2008 and December 2011.
