In the past month, three compounding pharmacies have recalled products due to sterility concerns, according to a report from the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
Green Valley Drugs in Henderson, Nev., ApothéCure in Dallas and NuVision Pharmacy in Dallas issued recalls "due to a lack of sterility assurance and concerns with the quality control process," according to the report. There have been no reported injuries or illnesses associated with the recalled products, according to the report.
