A 13-month-old toddler in Rhode Island passed away from what the Department of Health suspects was a meningococcal infection. Thirteen children at the child's day-care are being treated as a precaution, reports Fox News.
According to the report, the Health Department said there is no threat to the other children at the day-care.
The child's name has not been released, and the department is currently working to confirm if the infection was the result of a meningococcal infection.
