The most common reason nurses reject an offer from a prospective employer is a low compensation rate, according to an Adfire Healthreport on what nurses value most at work.
The healthcare talent firm surveyed 752 nurses across 30 specialty areas on the factors that mattered most to them when seeking employment.
Here are the four main factors nurses reject potential employers and the percentage of respondents who said they would turn down a job due to them:
1. Pay rate/salary too low: 42.6%
2. Location: 21%
3. Not supportive enough: 15%
4. Lacking paid time off: 12.5%
