JLL launches North Carolina life sciences facility

Investment and real estate management company JLL is launching its life sciences practice in its Raleigh-Durham, N.C., facility.

The practice will be headed up by JLL Executive Vice President Eric Forshee. JLL selected the Raleigh-Durham area because of its association with biomanufacturing and life sciences research, according to the Oct. 10 JLL news release.

"Raleigh-Durham has emerged as a top market for life sciences developments, and, while we've been doing work in the sector for some time, we see the introduction of a solidified business line as a huge growth opportunity for the market," JLL Head of Life Sciences Americas Markets Travis McCready said. "Eric brings the right mix of real estate experience and industry expertise to the team, and we're confident this investment will propel our business forward and generate excellent results for our clients."
