Elite Surgical Center in Fremont, Calif., has added two new bariatric procedures. Here are four things to know.
1. The surgery center is now offering endoscopic primary obesity surgery endolumenal and the endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty.
2. The POSE procedure allows surgeons to enter the GI tract orally and reduce the stomach size.
3. The ESG procedure also allows endoscopic oral access to the GI tract, but surgeons suture a portion of the stomach.
