AmSurg Q1 same-center revenue rallies 8.8%; SCA, SwiftPath partner on outpatient total joint replacement support services & more — 6 key updates on ASC companies

Here are six updates on ASC companies from the last week.

Surgical Care Affiliates and SwiftPath partnered to offer outpatient hip and knee replacement support services. Through the partnership, SwiftPath will add SCA Senior Vice President Goran Dragolovic and SCA Group Vice President of Development Tim Buono to its board of directors.

AmSurg same-center revenue rose 8.8 percent during the first quarter of 2016. Of this figure, there was a 5 percent increase in procedures per day, a 1.7 percent increase in additional operating days and a 2.1 percent increase in net revenue per procedure.

During the first quarter of 2016, Tenet Healthcare's generated adjusted EBITDA hit $613 million.

During the first quarter, Nobilis Health had long term debt totaling $21.2 million. The company had $17.9 million in accounts payable and $14.4 million of accrued liabilities. Total shareholder equity was $129.2 million as of March 31

Medical Facilities Corp. announced a cash dividend payment of Cdn$0.09375 per common share. This May dividend is MFC's 146th consecutive dividend payment since the company's inception.

Hospital Corporation of America shares hit $77.12 per share, down 1 percent, during the week of May 16 to May 20.
