3. Within the ambulatory care industry, outpatient centers saw a spending increase of 11 percent in the first quarter, compared to the first quarter of 2015. Physicians' offices experienced a 7.4 percent increase from the first quarter of 2015.
4. Hospital spending increased 4.2 percent in the first quarter of 2016, compared to the first quarter of 2015.
5. Specialty hospitals saw the greatest increase in spending in the first quarter of 2016.
