Ravi Chopra is the president and CEO of The C/N Group, which focuses on development of surgery and imaging centers throughout the country. He founded the group in 1980 and since then has been responsible for overseeing activities carried out by The C/N Group and its affiliated groups. Over the years, Mr. Chopra has spearheaded projects totaling more than $75 million in capital expenditures.
Earlier this year, The C/N Group announced the opening of a freestanding outpatient radiation therapy center in Westchester County, N.Y., which was a joint venture between the group and local radiation oncologists. In addition to the high clinical quality, the new treatment center offers a relaxed and private setting for patients and caregivers. "All healthcare facilities must deliver harmony between both clinical excellence and environment," Mr. Chopra said. "Cancer treatment can entail several visits to the same place, and that places a huge emphasis on design as well as patient service."
Before founding The C/N Group, Mr. Chopra served in many executive roles in the steel industry, including as chief industrial engineer for Youngstown Steel, now known as International Steel Group, and director of engineering services for Wisconsin Steel, now known as Envirodyne Industries.
