In addition to his leadership at Carolina Surgical Center, Dr. Parsons founded his own ENT practice, Central Carolina Ear, Nose, Throat and Audiology Center, also in Rock Hill. He established the practice in 1988 and has since added two ENT physicians.
Dr. Persons earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He went on to complete a surgical internship at William Beaumont Hospital and an otolaryngology residency at Wayne State University. He has published numerous research articles and is a member of several professional societies, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the York County Medical Society, the Lancaster County Medical Society and the Charlotte Ear, Nose and Throat Society.
