The American Medical Association released its Competition in Health Insurance report for 2017.
The AMA's division of economic and health policy research conducted independent research on health insurance market competition. The 2017 update builds on 2016 data. The report was designed to allow insurers to identify areas where consolidation has caused the most harm.
