Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth will expand its corporate operations and add more than 550 jobs in management, accounting, medical coding and billing, according to a Business & Heritage Clarksville report.
The company will expand its operations by leasing a new facility to be constructed in Alcoa, Tenn. The project developers will invest nearly $18 million.
Through its six principal service lines at 13 regional sites, TeamHealth provides emergency medicine, anesthesiology, hospital medicine and pediatric staffing and management services to more than 700 hospitals, clinics and physician groups. The new facility in Alcoa will be the company's second in that location, with the first housing 400 employees.
