Mid Dakota Clinic, a Bismarck, N.D.-based multi-specialty practice, announced it will implement electronic health records for improved practice management and care coordination in its clinics, according to Healthcare IT News.
Mid Dakota Clinic will work with Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth for EHRs, medical billing technology, practice management and patient communication services. The clinic hopes the new technology will help streamline administrative work, especially work related to ICD-10 implementation and meaningful use State 2, and help physicians more effectively communicate with patients.
The clinic has more than 60 healthcare providers serving patients in central and western North Dakota.
