Officials with MedAptus, a provider of financial, operational and clinical workflow tools to the healthcare industry, said today they have joined up with athenahealth, a cloud-based services company.
The move comes as a result of atheahealth's More Disruption Please program, which partners innovators, entrepreneurs, companies and investors — basically, those who are passionate about disrupting established approaches in healthcare that simply aren't working, aren't good enough or aren't advancing the industry, the group's website says.
Together, the companies will link athenahealth's mounting network of more than 59,000 healthcare providers with the capabilities of MedAptus with the intent of enabling faster, more accurate revenue capture and simplified patient management for healthcare providers.
