The Lincoln County (Tenn.) Health System, as part of a major overhaul of its electronic health records, is also readying itself for the changeover to ICD-10 through a step-by-step rollout, officials there say, according to the Elk Valley Times.
During a December meeting, John Lavender, information technology director for the system, explained the health system is on pace to meet the government's October deadline.
The health system has already been testing its ICD-10 readiness for months, officials with the health system said, adding that they're ready to begin the next phase in March.
