Montana-based New West Health Services will cease operations in 2017, the Washington Times reports.
Here's what you need to know.
1. The insurer is honoring policies throughout 2016, and will continue to process claims from 2016 during 2017 before it shuts down.
2. The insurer has 15,000 customers with 14,000 gaining coverage through Medicare Advantage. It employed 84 employees.
3. Customers will be able to choose a different health plan in October.
