The San Francisco-based electronic medical record platform provider Practice Fusion has acquired 100Plus, a health prediction startup that was founded in 2011, according to Healthcare Finance News.
Practice Fusion plans to use 100Plus' data analytics and game mechanics to develop patient-focused tools that provide health insights based on clinical data, according to the report.
100Plus currently has a beta application that helps users discover the impact of small health behaviors. Its initial app showed the correlation between alcohol consumption and lifespan. All 100Plus employees will join the Practice Fusion team full time for data and product development.
