Arise Health Plan is pulling out of the ACA exchanges, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
Here's what you should know.
1. Arise was a subsidiary of WPS Health Solutions. It will no longer sell or renew individual coverages through the ACA in Wisconsin in 2017.
2. WPS does not report its earnings, but said it was losing money on the health plans.
"The marketplace was telling us that these are not profitable products," Spokesperson for WPS Ellen Foley said.
3. Humana, Ambetter and UnitedHealthcare have all withdrawn from Wisconsin's exchanges earlier in the year.
4. Arise will continue to offer "ACA-compliant bronze level and catastrophic health plans" outside of the exchanges.
