The Joint Commission has appointed Leslie A. Duffy, RN, MBA, as the director for clinical services certification at The Joint Commission.
In this role, Ms. Duffy will be responsible for the implementation of business strategies and activities for The Joint Commission's clinical certification programs. Her specific responsibilities will include promoting Joint Commission clinical care certification, supporting healthcare organizations in their pursuit of certification and providing direct supervision for clinical care certification business development and marketing staff. Ms. Duffy will also lead Disease-Specific Care Certification Advisory Councils to identify enhancements that will increase the value of Joint Commission certification.
