Wilmington (Del.) Ambulatory Surgery Center achieved accreditation from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
MBSAQIP's accreditation recognizes the ASC's commitment to "providing and supporting quality improvement and patient safety efforts for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients," the accrediting body wrote in a letter shared on LinkedIn.
To maintain certification, the surgery center is required to annually submit a report demonstrating compliance with all applicable standards.
