The Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care has opened a public comment period regarding proposed changes to the 2013 AAAHC accreditation handbook and medical home on-site certification handbook.
The AAAHC has revised language in the accreditation handbook to simplify language, clarify content and eliminate redundancies. These proposals include changes to the fifth chapter on quality management and improvement.
Individuals are welcome to comment on the proposed changes through September.
