The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has approved the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities to accredit rural health clinics for Medicare or Medicaid services.
"AAAASF can immediately begin offering Medicare Certification to owners and operators of rural health clinics, greatly reducing the once-lengthy wait for CMS inspection and certification," says Harlan Pollock, MD, president of AAAASF.
