Edina, Minn.-based Twin Cities Pain Clinic and Surgery Center held its first annual Pain Awareness 5k Sept. 22.
Here's what you should know:
1. The practice donated proceeds from the event to the American Chronic Pain Association.
2. The run/walk was held in celebration of Pain Awareness Month.
3. Twin Cities Pain Clinic and Surgery Center invited participants to tour its facilities after the race.
4. Medtronic, Nevro, Boston Scientific and Abbott representatives were present to discuss new pain therapy technologies with participants.
