Limerick, Penn.-based Teleflex announced it is acquiring Netherlands-based LMA International NV, an anesthesia and emergency care product company, for $276 million, according to Reuters.
Teleflex hopes the deal will boost the medical device maker's anesthesia division. The company will also buy U.K.-based medical device maker Intavent Direct's LMA branded laryngeal mask supraglottic airway business.
Both deals should be completed by during the four quarter of 2012.
