Melville, N.Y.-based North American Partners in Anesthesia signed an agreement to provide services at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, N.J., according to a May 21 announcement.

1. NAPA has provided anesthesia services for 10 years at Monmouth South's sister hospital, Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J. Both hospitals are affiliates of West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health.
2. Monmouth South's anesthesia clinicians, who practice across four anesthetizing locations, will become part of NAPA.
3. NAPA's status as a federally listed Patient Safety Organization could bolster Monmouth South's efforts to reduce readmissions and provide high-quality healthcare services.
4. NAPA leaders led a collaborative effort to supply Monmouth South with anesthesia clinicians from several states to aid in the fight against COVID-19.
