North American Partners in Anesthesia announced that James Robins, MD, a long-time partner of NAPA, passed away on Jan. 4.
Dr. Robins had been battling lymphoma since 2012. For more than 25 years he served as an attending anesthesiologist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center as well as at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York.
Dr. Robbins joined NAPA in 1997. He was also a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.
