According to a press release, Medline and Marathon Pharmaceuticals are teaming up to market and distribute ZiNGO, a topical local anesthetic.
The two are experts in their areas: Marathon & drug development and manufacturing, Medline & global distributing of medical supplies.
ZiNGO is used to numb skin before venipuncture or peripheral intravenous cannulation on children 3-18. It can also be used prior to venipuncture on adults.
The press release noted that the two companies "share a common vision to help health care providers provide a high level of patient care through innovative products."
