The president of the Kentucky Society of Anesthesiologists told a legislative panel the state's requirements for anesthesiologist assistants are too stringent, according to WFPL.

President Heidi Koenig, MD, said the requirement is preventing well-trained anesthesiologist assistants from practicing in Kentucky.
