John B. Carter, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist, has established his medical practice with OU Physicians, according to a University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center release.
Dr. Carter has been an anesthesiologist and professor for 26 years, most recently at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He completed an anesthesiology residency at Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas, and earned his MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is a certified advanced cardiac life support provider and pediatric advanced life support provider, according to the release.
OU Physicians is the state's largest physician group with more than 500 physicians.
