American Anesthesiology, a subsidiary of MEDNAX, has announced the acquisition of Pinnacle Anesthesia, a physician group practice based in Palm Beach County, Fla., according to a MarketWatch report.
Pinnacle Anesthesia is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at Delray Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center. The group also provides anesthesia services at five office-based locations in the area and exceeds 20,000 cases every year.
The group consists of 15 anesthesiologists, who practice under the care team model along with 16 group-employed CRNAs.
American Anesthesiology has more than 750 anesthesia providers practicing in six metropolitan areas. MEDNAX paid cash to acquire the practice.
