Allstate Sues California Medical Professionals for Fraud

Allstate Insurance Co. is suing more than a dozen California physicians and chiropractors for filing claims while posing as medical groups, according to a report by KMJNOW.

Allstate's Special Investigation Unit investigated various medical professionals and found that they posed their facilities as physician-owned medical groups in attempts to provide unnecessary treatments without the interference of insurance companies and other third parties.
