LaClaro has announced the launch of an upgraded version of its Lighthouse product, an ASC revenue cycle management reporting suite, according to a LaClaro news release.
Lighthouse, which was first released to the ASC industry in 2010, is now available in two stand-alone product modules that have been restructured to increase operational efficiencies in ASCs. According to LaClaro CEO Terry Rajendran, the company listened to feedback from ASC employees at different levels of the revenue cycle process prior to the upgrade. "They all had distinct reporting needs and wanted a product that was efficient, affordable and created specifically for them," she said. "The two new Lighthouse product modules are the direct result of that feedback."
Created specifically with ASC administrators in mind, the new Lighthouse Management Reporting module focuses on management and their ability to quickly evaluate an ASC's status, collectors and accounts receivable. The module features single-click trending reports, implant analysis, contract performance reporting and business office accountability tracking.
The Lighthouse Workflow Automation module includes workflow management and productivity reporting that will decrease process variations in ASCs, according to LaClaro. By increasing the efficiency of daily collection tasks with payment auditing, aging accounts worksheets and consolidated case details, the module increases ASC profit margins by making the collector's job easier and more productive.
The new Lighthouse modules may be used independently or in unison. Lighthouse is designed as a system overlay to your existing billing system, not a replacement.
