KY's King's Daughters Medical Center Selects ProVation MD Software

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky., has selected its ProVation MD software for cardiology procedure documentation and coding in its cardiac catheterization labs, according to a Wolters Kluwer Health news release (pdf).

 

ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to the release.

 

"King's Daughter's is committed to providing the very best diagnostic and treatment services to patients with cardiovascular disease, as evidenced by its prestigious Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories accreditation," said Mike Haldane, vice president and general manager, clinical documentation, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, in the release. "We are pleased it has selected ProVation MD to further this mission through streamlined documentation and coding in the cardiac cath lab."

 

King's Daughters is a 465-bed, not-for-profit, regional referral center offering comprehensive cardiac, vascular, medical, surgical, maternity, pediatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, cancer, neurological, pain care, wound care and home care services.
