The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program has announced it is hosting a free collaborative webcast with the AOA Bureau of Hospitals to provide an update on the current activities of the MHA Keystone Center, according to an HFAP blog post.
The MHA Keystone Center was created by Michigan hospitals in 2003 to help ensure the best care for the state's patients and reduce costs through the implementation of evidence-based best practices. The center convenes hospitals and patient safety experts in improvement initiatives.
The one-hour program, titled "MHA Keystone: A Model for Rapid Implementation of Evidence-Based Best Practice and Cultural Improvement," takes place Nov. 17 at noon Eastern. It will focus on how a centralized organization, like the MHA Keystone Center, can assist hospitals in expediting the implementation of evidence-based best practice and cultural improvement through providing toolkits and data collection analysis and on-going support to aid in local implementation.
