Wolters Kluwer Health has announced that Denver-based Exempla Healthcare has selected its ProVation MD software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding.
ProVation MD, which is available for a full range of specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to a company news release.
"Exempla Healthcare is a nationally recognized, award-winning health system dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care to the Denver community," said Arvind Subramanian, CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health, Clinical Solutions division, in the release. "We are pleased that they have selected ProVation MD to provide streamlined procedure documentation and coding and further this mission.
Exempla Healthcare is a not-for-profit, community-based organization sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System and Community First Foundation (formerly LMC Community Foundation). It consists of three hospitals including 400-bed Exempla Lutheran Hospital.
