Zac Efron opted for surgery in early February at Los Angeles-based Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center after tearing his ACL while skiing, Us Weekly reports.
Three updates to know:
1. The "High School Musical" and "Neighbors" actor had his ACL repaired by Ronald S. Kvitne, MD, and left the surgery center the same day. Dr. Kvitne is the team physician for the Los Angeles Kings.
2. Mr. Efron is now rehabilitating his knee at Movement Performance Institute in Los Angeles, "taking it literally [one] step at a time," he said in an Instagram post.
3. Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center is a Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai affiliate.
