The Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of LaserTouchOne, a pain relief device, for marketing directly to consumers without a prescription, according to a Phoenix Business Journal report.
The technology was created by Laser Health Technologies in Paradise Valley, Ariz., a company partly owned by Okkay Oei, MD. According to the report, LaserTouchOne combines micro-current electrical stimulation with a low-level laser to promote the body’s natural healing process.
