Orange County, Calif.-based WCCT Global, a contract research organization, has acquired OC Clinical Trials and Consulting, an early-stage ophthalmology and cosmetology research practice.
The acquisition adds six investigators and five study coordinators and research personnel to WCCT's organization. It also gives the company expanded early-phase capabilities in cornea and external disease, uveitis, vitreoretinal diseases, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics and pediatric ophthalmic conditions.
