Global eye drug and device company Bausch + Lomb announced its Victus femtosecond laser has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA to create arcuate incisions in the cornea.
The company said in a news release that the laser is already in regular use to make corneal flaps for Lasik and cataract surgery, and that the procedure will allow for more accurate treatments.
