Ophthalmologist Valerie Trubnik, MD, has joined Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, N.Y., according to a Garden City News report.
Dr. Trubnik will serve as an associate physician specializing in glaucoma surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology. She will work in OCLI's Lynbrook, Manhasset and Mineola offices.
Dr. Trubnik received her MD from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, according to her bio. She completed her internship at the Lenox Hill Hospital and went on to complete residency training in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She then completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
