Nationwide Vision Centers, a provider of vision care services throughout Arizona, has announced the addition of board-certified ophthalmologist Daniel Peters, MD, to its surgical team, according to a news release.
Dr. Peters is a refractive and ophthalmic surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical, research and ophthalmic surgical experience. He will see patients at Nationwide Vision's Phoenix and Mesa treatment centers.
Dr. Peters previously served as chief of ophthalmology at Fairchild Air Force Base near Spokane, Wash. After leaving the military for private practice in 1995, he was a co-investigator for the clinical trial that won final U.S. FDA approval for LASIK.
