Ophthalmologist Russell W. Read, MD, PhD, has been named an associate editor in chief of the Journal of Ophthalmic Inflammation and Infection, according to a news release.
Dr. Read is associate professor of ophthalmology and pathology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a recognized leader in the treatment of uveitis, according to the release.
The Journal of Ophthalmic Inflammation and Infection is the official journal of the International Ocular Inflammation Society. It focuses on relevant clinical and experimental research on ophthalmic inflammation and infection.
