Bausch + Lomb's PreserVision AREDS 2 Formula supplement is now available to U.S. wholesalers, according to a Healio report.
The patented formula was updated to follow the National Eye Institute's Age-Related Eye Disease Study results. The company removed 1,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids that were included in the original formula due to 2010 evidence of potential benefit.
