A new eye institute for the University of California, Irvine's School of Medicine will include an ASC, according to a news release from the organization.
The outpatient surgery center is just one component of the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute clinical and academic center. The $31 million, 60,000-square-foot facility will also include patient exam areas, an optical shop, and facility office and conference space.
